Complexity are the second team from the Americas Minor to book their spot at the FACEIT Major 2018 New Challengers Stage after defeating eUnited on Inferno (16-10) and Mirage (16-7).
The consolidation final of the Americas Minor kicked off on eUnited's map pick, Inferno. Bradley "ANDROID" Fodor drew first blood, but Skyler "Relyks" Weaver's smooth triple-kill led his team to win their CT pistol. With a UMP45, however, Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz found a triple-kill of his own to restore parity, with Complexity following that up with the subsequent anti-eco to take control of proceedings.
Although eUnited responded successfully on the back of a double and a triple-kill from Kaleb "moose" Jayne and Michael "dapr" Gulino, respectively, Complexity went on a great run, losing just one round before bagging a six-round lead. Still, eUnited won their fourth round on a shoddy buy, which inspired them to bring the gap to 6-9 by half-time.
In the second half, ANDROID picked up the pistol for his team with a great triple-kill in a 2v3 retake situation. eUnited replied with a trio of rounds, but Complexity won other three to hit map-point, 15-9.
Even though Relyks and co. still hit double figures to force Complexity to eco in the next round, Rory "dephh" Jackson came up huge with a saved AWP. First with a double-kill and then with a ninja defuse in a 1v3 situation as two of his opponents were chasing him, the British player sealed the deal for his team at 16-10.

Mirage, Complexity's map pick, began with stanislaw's men securing a quick 3-0 lead on the attacking side. In the first gun round, ANDROID added a quad-kill to his name, but that was not enough to stop eUnited, who won the round thanks to a 1v2 clutch from Will "dazzLe" Loafman.
Nevertheless, Complexity went on a six-round winning streak to go up 9-1. Despite Complexity seemingly having total control of the half, eUnited tightened up their defence from that moment, stringing together the final five rounds of the half to reduce the deficit to 6-9.
Complexity started off the half by winning their third pistol of the clash and the next two rounds, 12-6. eUnited still picked up the subsequent round, but Complexity refused to take their foot off the gas, finishing things off without losing any more rounds, 16-7.
